getMail FAQs
1. How do I set up a getMail account?Setting up your getMail account is quite simple. All you have to do is sign up as a publisher. Once you have submitted your sign up details you will receive an email which includes a link you need to click on to activate your account. This welcome email will include details of your email address and password that you will need to access your account.
2. What contact lists can I use with getMail?getMail adheres to Australian Privacy Principles and fully supports the conditions of the Australian Spam Act 2003.getmail has a no-tolerance spam policy. We will terminate without refund any account found to be spamming. You can upload your contacts in a variety of ways into getMail. You can upload contact details one by one which is ideal for creating small lists or adding a few contacts to an existing lists. Alternatively getMail can accept lists in either tab or comma delimited formats. To upload your contact lists from elsewhere click on the CSV button on the View by Contact List page. Apart from given, family and email you can add additional information in your contact lists including title, alternate (email), mobile, phone, fax, address, suburb, state, postcode, country and company. Please note it is important to use these same names in the headings of the file you download from. If you just want to upload the email addresses only and no other contact details you can use out paste it facility. Simply click on select all on any page of copy that includes the email addresses you want to include in your list then paste that copy into the text box on the paste it page of getMail. Our program will then look for the email addresses in the text box and collate it into a list for you.
3. Pricing – how do I pay?To send an email to a person in your own contact list costs 1 getMail credit. Credits can be transferred between publishers at no charge. The more credits you purchase the cheaper it is per email sent. Initial support is free but ongoing assistance by getmail staff may incurr a cost of $100 per hour.

4. Do I have to sign a contract to use getMail?
No. You can test the service with the 100 free credits you receive when you sign up for your account. However, your trial email campaigns may be monitored by getmailstaff following spam issues with some trial account users. This may result in a delay in your trial emails being sent to your contact list. All you have to do to continue to use the service is pre-purchase email credits via a direct bank transfer. Your email credits will be pending until your purchase funds arrive in our bank account.
5. How do I compose an email with getMail?There are a variety of ways you can compose an email to use with
edentiti getMail. You can use the HTML text editor incorporated in the system
or you can copy and paste an email prepared in another application. At edentiti getMail we use and recommend High Impact Email software templates for preparing attractive html emails. Once you have installed High Impact Email you can prepare your emails in that program then click on "View Source" and copy and paste the code into the html view of getMail's Email composer.
Unlike other email delivery solutions we don't just provide you with a list of bounced emails. At getMail we do everything we can to enable you to get the message to your contacts. We provide you with the tools to follow up on your bounced and returned emails. Depending on the reason for the bounce you can send your undelivered email to an alternate email address. Other options you can utilise to make contact include fax and sms.
7. Can I see reports on my email campaigns?Yes. With getMail you can view reports on each mail campaign you send. You can find out information about total number of emails sent, number of bounces and number of unique emails opened. You can see lists of recipients who have opened your email the most times, recipients who have forwarded your emails to others and lists of who has clicked on which link in your email. Your reports can also be exported as Tab delimited files.
